Which Quote Request Form Should I Use?

Flex Series:

• Framed glass panels, solid panels, or mixture of both

• Full height or segmented (unlimited segmentation)

• Single or Double pane options

• Power/data options

View Series:

• Center pane full-height butt-seam glass

• Glass only

• Single pane only

General Project Information

Project Name: Please provide NxtWall with a non-generic name to refer to your project. (Project names like “Glass office” are not recommended). We recommend using the end-user company name and location or department or room description within the building. For example: Coca-Cola Corporate Office Atlanta Rm 285. Giving your project a detailed and accurate name will also help NxtWall protect your project from other bidders.

Your Company: Your Company Name.

Contact Name: Name of salesperson who will be the primary contact for any questions regarding the project.

Bill to Address: Your bill to address.

Email: Email address to receive the completed proposal/drawings from NxtWall.

Wall Frame Finishes

NxtWall framing consists of the visible aluminum extrusions for the wall system and includes the ceiling track, floor track, door frames, and finish trim. NxtWall offers a variety of wall frame finishes that can enhance your unique design. Choose from our popular powdercoat and anodized frame selections or make a custom powder coat color decision from the RAL Chart.

Glazing bead are the strips of PVC (plastic) which surround the edges of the glass pieces in our Flex Series wall system, holding the glass in place. You will not need to select a glazing bead finish if your project does not include glass panels.

Attaching to Ceiling

Is your project a full-height design that will attach to an existing ceiling? If it will attach to the ceiling then select “Yes” on the quote form. Also, please specify the ceiling height. We will need to know the ceiling height at the location of where your project will be installed. Will your project attach to a bulk head, or ceiling grid or other? (This information is necessary and required to provide an accurate quote).

Please make sure to take the measurements in multiple locations, for the floor and ceiling may not be level. Enter the results in the form field titled: “Ceiling / Panel Height”. (Give us the tallest dimension for each section).

If your project is freestanding and does not attach to the ceiling, select “No” and then enter the wall height desired in the form field titled: “Ceiling / Panel Height”.

Panel Specifications

What configurations of wall panels are involved in this project?
Please use the quote request form to designate the style by typing an “X” in the empty checkbox below the selections you want.

We have many panel options available:

• Solid Panel – which means the panel is a solid, floor-to-ceiling, one single panel. We will select the specific solid panel substrates later within the RFQ form…
• Full Light – means the panel is a floor-to-ceiling, single glass, full-height.
• Solid/Glass – this is commonly called a Clerestory. It is a combination of glass on the top and a solid panel on the bottom.
• Glass/Solid – in this instance, the the top panel is solid and the bottom panel is glass.
• Glass/Glass – Glass clerestory with glass bottom panels. There can be more than just one segment.
• Window – solid top and bottom panels with glass in the middle between them.
• Custom (Draw in Segment) – Any other configuration. Please include your design by either drawing on the custom segment on the quote form, using the Special Notes/Instructions form field for a description and/or a drawing, or attaching a separate drawing and including it with your quote form submittal.

If your project includes multiple panel options, please use different colors for each “X” (press Ctrl+E on your keyboard to access the text color option). Please match the colors shown on this RFQ form in this area with your included highlighted design plan or drawing, usually added to the completed quote form as a separate attachment.

Solid Panels

What type of substrate will be used for the wall panels? Choose from:

Vinyl-Wrapped Gypsum Wall Panels*

NxtWall vinyl-wrapped gypsum wall panels install quickly and offer the flexibility that is key in today’s office and work environment. The durable finishes deliver value on your investment with lower installation and maintenance costs. Vinyl-wrapped Gypsum is a low cost option with the fastest delivery time.

• GRADE 1: Unfinished Raw Gypsum Wall Board
  (NOTE: NxtWall’s gypsum wall panels are 1/2 inches thick with square edges.)
• GRADE 2: Vinyl-Wrapped Gypsum Wall Board Finishes*
  NxtWall’s Flex Series standard wall finish. A low cost option with our fastest delivery times.
• GRADE 3: Vinyl-Wrapped Gypsum Wall Board Finishes
  This option may incur added costs and needs to be special ordered.
• GRADE 4: Vinyl-Wrapped Gypsum Wall Board Finishes
  This option may incur added costs and needs to be special ordered.

Glass Panels

NxtWall’s standard glass panel for the Flex Series is 1/4″ thick single pane clear tempered glass*. Any glass selected within a range of 1/4” to 3/8” thick is compatible for Flex Series. Both single pane and double pane options are available in various configurations within the Flex Series. Your glass choice options range from clear tempered to laminated tempered. A decorative film can also be applied on-site after initial installation. Using decorative film on your glass walls can give you aesthetic flexibilty for your design and provide privacy for your office spaces. Decorative Film to be supplied by Others. Power – Electrical/Data

Power – Electrical/Data Type:
Are you requesting power and/or data within your design?
If yes, please include an electrical plan with your quote request. Electrical and data can be added at monitor, desk, or standard height. Each project is unique and designed to fit your needs.

• Modular Power Only – NxtWall will provide plug-n-play modular power.
• Hardwire By Others – Must be supplied and installed by an Electrician.
• Data Only – Boxes and Face Plates will be provided. Wiring must be performed by an outside source (by others).
• Both Power and Data – Modular Power and Data are requested.

Door Specifications

What type of doors would you like? We offer the following options: Flush, Half Lite, Quarter Lite, Full Lite, Glass, and Aluminum Frame.
You can select more than one door type for a project. Check all the box(es) that apply.

• Flush – Solid door.
• Half Lite – Half solid, with half height glass insert.
• Quarter Lite – Solid door, with custom size glass insert.
• Full Lite – Solid frame, with full height glass insert.
• Glass – Frameless glass door.
• Aluminum Frame – Aluminum Frame door with full height glass inserts.

Door Height

What is the door height? Type your requested door height in the field provided. NxtWall’s standard and minimum door height is 7 ft tall. A full height door is when the door reaches from the floor to the ceiling. Any height sliding or swing door configuration (up to 10’ maximum) can be used within the Flex Series.

Wood Door Type

If you are requesting a solid core wood door, please select between the following types:

• STOCK DOOR VENEER* are Solid Core Wood Veneer Plain-sliced Red Oak with Stain Finish, In-Stock, Standard Height, Swing Configuration, with Standard Leverset Only.
• GRADE 2 LAMINATE doors are special order items.
• GRADE 3 VENEER doors are special order items.

Swing Door Hardware

Choose Between:
• Locking Leverset* – NxtWall’s standard swing door hardware.
• Lever Latchset – Non-Locking Passage Set.
• No Hardware – choose if no doors exist in the project, no hardware is needed, or if customer will supply their own door hardware.
• 15”3/4 Non-Locking Barpull – Set.
• 48” Non-Locking Barpull – Set.
• 48” Locking Barpull – Set.
• Other (specify in notes area) – Please use this option for any option not shown on the quote form.  Describe your request in the “Special Notes/Instructions” form field on the RFQ form.

Sliding Door Hardware

What type of door hardware would you like for your sliding doors? You can select more than one type for a project, so please check all the box(es) that apply.

• 36” Locking Barpull – Set.
• 48” Non-Locking Barpull – Set.

Swing Door Closers

Swing door closers are mechanical devices that automatically close the door after it has been opened. For our Aluminum Frame and Wood door options (which include laminates and veneers), we can provide surface-mounted door closer mechanisms. For Frameless Glass doors we can provide self-closing hinges (Biloba options below).

Choose between the following:
• No Closers
• Biloba Non Hold Open (Frameless Doors)
• Biloba Hold Open (Frameless Doors)
• Surface Mounted Non Hold Open (Wood + Alum Doors)
• Other (specify in notes area) – Please use this option for any option not shown on the quote form.  Describe your request in the “Special Notes/Instructions” form field on the RFQ form.

Sliding Door Closers

Sliding door closers are surface-mounted mechanisms above the door that assist the closing or opening of the door.
