Attaching to Ceiling
Is your project a full-height design that will attach to an existing ceiling? If it will attach to the ceiling then select “Yes” on the quote form. Also, please specify the ceiling height. We will need to know the ceiling height at the location of where your project will be installed. Will your project attach to a bulk head, or ceiling grid or other? (This information is necessary and required to provide an accurate quote).
Please make sure to take the measurements in multiple locations, for the floor and ceiling may not be level. Enter the results in the form field titled: “Ceiling / Panel Height”. (Give us the tallest dimension for each section).
If your project is freestanding and does not attach to the ceiling, select “No” and then enter the wall height desired in the form field titled: “Ceiling / Panel Height”.

Glass Specifications
What type of glass panels are involved in this project?
NxtWall’s standard glass panel is single pane, clear tempered glass*. Double pane is NOT available within the View Series. Your glass choice options range from clear tempered and laminated tempered. Depending on your project’s maximum height, glass panels can be 1/2″ thick or 3/8″ thick. A decorative film can also be applied on-site after initial installation for aesthetics purposes or for privacy. Consult your sales representative for more details at info@nxtwall.com.
(NOTE: *NxtWall standard within the View Series)
Choose from the following options available:
- Tempered* – Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is about four times stronger than “ordinary,” or annealed, glass. And unlike annealed glass, which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, tempered glass fractures into small pieces that are less likely to cause injury or damage than non-tempered glass. Advantages of using Tempered glass include: safety, strength, and it is more heat resistant than normal glass.
- Laminated Tempered – Laminated tempered glass is another safety glass option that can be described as the process of sandwiching a thin film of plastic between two pieces of glass, in which the plastic sheeting holds the glass together when it is broken, preventing the glass from flying and causing injuries – thus qualifying as a safety glazing material. Advantages of using laminated glass is that it blocks 99 percent of the UV-light transmission, has sound reduction properties, and it can be cut and its edges can be polished after laminating. Disadvantages of using Laminated tempered glass is that is it much more expensive than tempered glass.
- Clear* – Non-colored transparent glass (all light passes through).
Glass Thickness:
- 1/2″ (10′ Maximum Height)
- 3/8″ (9′ Maximum Height)

Corner Specifications
Choose between square corner posts or seamless butt-joint glass corners and t-junctions. FYI – You may hear or see the term “Open Corner” – (this is another way of saying seamless butt-joint glass corners). Also, seamless glass t-junctions may be referred to as “wingback walls”. See photo examples below.
