NxtWall Case Study: Bridge Pointe Real Estate
How do you transform an empty mall storefront into a viable office workspace? That is what our customer in Johnson City, Tennessee wanted to accomplish when they took over a vacant Hallmark store and needed to convert the space into a functional, stylish, and contemporary workspace in a fast and timely fashion. Bridge Pointe Real Estate wanted to renovate this blank canvas and take it up a notch.

There were constraints that needed to be taken into consideration. The space had to provide privacy and collaborative areas but since the space was limited the design needed to be both creative and innovative. Most of all they needed the job completed quickly and on-time. They chose NxtWall demountable wall systems to construct a new environment that would provide employees and customers alike with a more enjoyable experience that allows light to flow through while maintaining a fresh, crisp, contemporary design.
Emily King, an interior designer, and owner of Elk Supply Co. was contacted to help with the design and layout. NxtWall Demountable walls were used as the backbone of Emily’s design. NxtWall’s Flex Series walls were perfect for what needed to be accomplished which was providing stylish private offices and conference rooms quickly. Bridge Pointe Real Estate wanted to be operational in a couple of months and since NxtWall demountable walls are considered “furniture” there was no need to obtain a building permit in their municipalities thereby saving valuable time. NxtWall Demountable walls can also be installed by a single trade which was another time saver. The flexibility and the fact that NxtWall Flex Series walls are demountable (they can be taken down and moved to a new location and reused if the need should arise) was also a motivating factor in using NxtWall Flex Series. Finally, the wide array of NxtWall fabric choices and 3 Grades of Formica laminate options helped give this project the creative edge it was looking for all at an affordable price.

Description of Project and Flex Series Finishes Chosen:
Phase #1 and #2 both entailed Flex Series 10’ black powder coat aluminum framing, ceiling height aluminum framed glass doors, and 48” locking black bar pulls. For the side walls laminate wall panels, tackable fabric panels, and whiteboards were used. Byrne modular power and blocking for TV mount also was incorporated into the project.
Bridge Pointe Real Estate was so happy with the outcome, they are already installing Phase 2 of their building plan and will soon be looking to start Phase 3.
